Century Construction installed a slope build-up
structural system and metal roof system (MR-24)
over top of an existing flat conventional roof.
The complete slope build-up system was designed
by Butler Manufacturing Company. The MR-24 panels
are 24 gage steel with a Galvalume coating. The
slope was achieved using 16 gage hat sections
and tube type posts with strap bracing. The slope
build-up framing system was fastened to the existing
structural beams. The total roof area is 64,900
square feet.
