There was a great turnout for the Ethics Suite Open House at the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies. We enjoyed working with the team and building this space.

The building was transformed from outdated to a bright and functional space. There are 11 large classrooms with supporting offices, conference room, and studies. Glave & Holmes designed a marvelous space that met the needs of the school and incorporated many classical features. The entablature and column capitals in the lobby were made from hand crafted plaster, designed specially for this building.
Mark brings 30 years of construction experience to the Century Construction Company team. He monitors all estimates and projects and has a successful record in project planning, cost development and value engineering. Owners and architects enjoy working with Mark, which is demonstrated by a 75% rate in return business each year. Prior to joining Century in 1985, Mark worked in mechanical contracting in Philadelphia. He is a native of Richmond and civil engineering graduate of Virginia Tech.
Bill leads construction operations, including coordinating managers, quality control, scheduling and safety. He has managed the construction of offices, sports and aquatics facilities, medical buildings, museums, churches and industrial work. Prior to joining Century in 1993, Bill worked in high-rise construction in Atlanta, Chicago and Minneapolis. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of Colorado. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1989 and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Neil oversees pre-construction and estimating services. He works closely with owner representatives, architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers during design development. His primary goal is to provide quality construction while maintaining the owner’s budget. Prior to joining Century in 1997, Neil was employed by Butler Manufacturing Company, holding several positions including design engineer, sales engineer, and regional sales manager. Neil is a civil engineering graduate from Virginia Tech and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Ronnie has represented Century for over thirty-five years, including overall management of field operations since 2006. He is a master craftsman, a hard worker and a good communicator. Specialties include constructing technical renovations in critical facilities, phased projects and maintaining long-term client relationships. Through his commitment and leadership, Century employees enjoy working on some of the safest construction projects in the region. He enjoys an excellent rapport with design professionals and subcontractors.
